Larry A. Strauss, Esq.
Larry A. Strauss is a Senior Associate at Ged Lawyers, LLP. His practice focuses on storm law and representing the victims of Hurricane Ian and other major disasters in claims disputes over inadequate insurance coverage for storm damage. A seasoned litigator, his experience includes commercial and civil litigation, including wrongful death, complex personal injury, business disputes, and employment law matters.
Mr. Strauss is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-rated and Avvo Superb-rated attorney with 20 years of diverse litigation experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has litigated a variety of cases in state and federal courts in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington, D.C. He has conducted depositions, resolved matters in mediation, and advocated for clients before administrative agencies. He has previously served as in-house litigation counsel for a corporation, worked in private practice at several law firms, and in state government. In law school, he clerked for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin.
A Florida native, Strauss worked as a journalist at newspapers throughout Florida and in Washington, D.C., for nearly a decade prior to beginning his legal career.
Strauss obtained his law degree from Penn State, and journalism degree from the University of Florida.
