Tory Tombs, an Associate Attorney with Ged Lawyers, LLP since July 2013, concentrates her practice in the area of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation and insurance disputes.
On behalf of the firm, Ms. Tombs has been assigned to represent a number of private and public hospitals. She has litigated hundreds of cases in several different courts throughout Florida and has been successful in recovering the payment of insurance benefits which were initially denied or improperly paid by various insurance carriers.
Ms. Tombs began her career in the legal profession in 1999, as a Senior Paralegal specializing in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury for a South Florida firm. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, her employment with the same firm continued as an Associate Attorney with her primary focus shifting to the areas of Foreclosure and Debt Defense.
Born in Ontario, Canada, Ms. Tombs grew up in Georgia and has resided in South Florida since 1999. She attended Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies in 2004 and her Juris Doctorate degree in 2011. She graduated Cum Laude, ranking 6th in her class, and was selected Commencement Student Speaker by her graduating class.
